Since the day of inception in 1987, SYM has been playing a prominent role in hundreds of thousands of families in integrated, rural villages in Khammam District in Andhra Pradesh. Under the efficient, selfless hard-working Governing Body and able administration, SYM made a difference in Remote, Tribal areas. Today these families stand in self-sustainment just because of SYM. 320 Acres of land is converted into cultivable land. Of which in 250 acres, Dry Land insured the irrigation raised thereby increasing the land value.

300Acres of land has developed and promoted for double crop.

10 Irrigation Tanks & Check Dams and 1 community tube well and one Major Irrigation project was constructed -300 Acres of land belonging to target villages people gets irrigated from these Water conservation structures.

90 Self Help Groups (SHGs) were formed and linked up to local Grameen Banking. Mobilized an amount of Rs1.7 lakhs as revolving fund from the Government.

By promoting organic agricultural practices, agricultural yield (paddy) improved from 13-18 bags to 25-35 bags.

Developed Vermi Culture in 5 villages. Farmers use them in agriculture.

Poorest of the poor and Socially, Economically backward people were organized in Jan Adhikar Sangathan in 60 villages.

Mobilized more than Rs. 50 laks worth of Village Infrastructure like Schools, Roads, Drinking Water facilities, etc.

11 Sangathan (CBOs) members were elected in recent Panchayat Raj elections out of which 6 are women.

475 Sanghathan members submitted their applications to the Government for Ration Cards.

331 Sanghathan members applied for Land Pattas under land forest rights act.

Apex Body was formed and orientation process initiated towards Self-reliance.

Individual/Family disputed are getting solved in Sanghathan purview in target villages. Sanghathan executive bodies are taking good initiative.

- Enrollment in Schools increased from 75% to 100%.
- Girls Enrollment increased from 35% to 95%.
- Drop-outs percentage deceased from 48 to 5.
- Succeeded in starting 17 new Government Schools in target villages.
- 63 teachers were trained and increased the environment of schools.
- PTA/ SDMC were formed and strengthened in 22 villages
- Running 3 non formal and remedial schools covering 100 children.
- Innovative art workshop conducted for teachers, children and community.
- Succeeded in starting 8 New ICDS Centers.
- Villagers are demanding more new Schools and Teaching Staff.
- Due to increased education awareness, SC, ST and Tribal are now getting 10 + 2 + 3 education.
- 4 Baiga tribal Students of SYM are now teaching in Government Schools

Family Planning operations increased by 21 villages and there is a substantial decrease in Child deaths.

43 Women took medicines and other maternity benefit schemes from the Government.

ANM Services are utilized well in all 38 villages and immunization is regulars.
